New Site Editor?
We may have a new site editor. Her name is Ann. We'll be meeting in the Los Angeles area in a couple weeks. Ann is very feminine, attractive and very enthusiastic about having her head shaved to demonstrate her commitment to presenting women that choose to be bald, wear buzzcuts, or want some other ultra short style to be themselves. We put a small introduction of Ann on our web site: www.itsmyhair.com

Ann is older than most women that choose to shave, and we see that as an advantage. She enjoys writing involves her readers with ease.

So much, so fast, so new
We've got about a dozen new women contributing to the site. Some a little, some a lot. We've added a beauty editor, Yesenia, and our own stylist, Mindy. Women from around the world are sending us their stories and photos, and everything is great!

Stacey still has it!

We were in the Los Angeles are for a few days. Stacey had visited an upscale salon just the day before and they botched her hair. She had to go back and still, it wasn't right. It was nearly the first thing she talked about when we met in the Los Angeles airport. I told her not to worry. I would fix it.

As soon as we checked into our hotel rooms, Stacey showed me everything she wanted fixed. They had really screwed up at the salon. Some sections of her hair were blunt cut while others looked like they missed completely. There was little texture cut into her hair and it laid flat in too many places.

Stacey was a bit concerned when I started cutting with scissors and no comb, but this is the way to great texture. It took about 15-20 minutes, but I'm proud to say I did what the upscale salon couldn't. Stacey's hair looked absolutely great and did everything she wanted it to do. I'd always been complimented on my ultra short cuts, and this was probably an all-time best. Of course, it helps that Stacey has such thick hair with natural waves and curl. It's all just a matter of letting her hair do its
thing.

The best compliments came the next day when we attended the hair show in LA and everyone thought she was a stylist. She had the same reception when she returned to the Midwest. She said heads everywhere turned to see her, and again everyone asked if she was a stylist. These compliments reminded me of some great wisdom when looking for a good stylist. Go into a salon and find the stylist with the best looking haircut. Get the stylist that cut her hair. She sure didn't cut it herself!

I know Stacey felt great getting all the positive attention. I felt great knowing everyone thought so highly of her haircut.

BTW, Stacey has posted the message "* Have you recently made an ultra short transformation - Share your story and we might feature you!
*
" to our site. If anyone has stories or photos to share, visit our site (It's My Hair) and send them to either Stacey or me.

News!
We've had so many visitors come our way as a result of this group. We are surprised by the ages of the women that contact us. We expected the teens, and twenties, and while the majority of women are in these age groups, we've had many women into their thirties, forties, and to the late fifties also contacting us. All seem so eager to tell us how much they love our site and what it offers.

An Invitation
This is an invitation to other women that have gone against accepted hairstyle fashions with buzzed or shaved heads to visit our site (www.itsmyhair.com). It's not just a choice. It's an attitude of independence and freedom!

We are creating acceptance of a woman's choice to do with her hair as she wants. It's not about sexuality, making statements, or lack of sanity. It's about having a choice and living with what we want.

To help women that want to choose ultra short styles, we'll have beauty, fashion and fitness advice columns by professionals in those fields.

We also intend to have our own on-line Model Directory for those interested in getting more exposure.

We look forward to having you visit and hearing from you.
